Mass Media in the USA

The power of press in the USA is enormous. The U.S. Constittion guarantees freedom of press and the press media act as a check on governmental action.
During this year, I was learning 4 different states in America: Maryland, Washington, Kansas and Louisiana.

Kansas's Mass Media

One of the most popular local newspaper in Kansas is "Kansas City Business Journal". People who read this newspaper will find out how to become a regular Business Journal subscriber and receive information about how to become a Business Journal advertiser. Among this, there are a lot of fresh news in this newspaper. It consists of 8 rubrics: News, People, Events, Exclusive, How-to, Buy, Find, Jobs. Editorial stuff is very hardworking, creative people:
  • Joyce Hayhow - Publisher
  • Brian Kaberline - Editor
  • Russell Gray - Managing Editor
  • Chris Curry - Design Editor
  • Jonna Lorenz - Research Director
  • James Dornbrook - Reporter
  • Alyson Raletz - Reporter
  • Autumn MorningSky - Web Producer
  • Brianne Pfannenstiel - Reporter

I have read some of posts of this newspaper, one of them is "Kansas senator wants to expel new school standards", May 17, 2013, 7:43am. This post tells us about educational reform in Kansas and all that connect with it. You can read this post cliking this link:

If we talk about stategy of this journal, I can say it write about all nessecery news in Kansas or in the USA.  All posts are rather polite and truthful. You can not only read news, but also post an advertisement about looking for a job, find something, for example "City Guide".
